Homemade Cards: One Whole from Many

We're presenting a third card in our project "Homemade Cards and Gifts – Interesting Ideas Every Day!"

Have you ever thought of an additional functionality of the hole punch?

Cheerful Homemade Cards

The idea of this card is not only in laborious work (though I somehow managed to glue all these circles when our little daughter was nearby – I gave her some of the circles for her own, tot's, card :) ) ). The composition and the texture of the materials are also important in the card.

Homemade Cards: One Whole from Many

What will you need:

  • white paper for the card itself;
  • 2 kinds of colour paper – for the ornament (preferably if they are of different texture);
  • a hole punch and glue.

A hole punch was used to make many circles. You can glue them to paper with pincers (but I made it with my hands).

And here is an example of one more card made in the same style – by our toddler (21 mo).

Initially, we were making a camomile together with our daughter: I was pouring glue in the form of petals and she was pouring circles onto it.

And then Soniya decided to decorate the card and everywhere, where she could, she added acrylic spangles. It seems we finally got a snowflake :) Not hurrying to let winter go….

Homemade Gifts

For the present accompanying the card we, again, chose candles (of another kind). We decorated them in decoupage technique (learn more about it here).
