There is an element of transformation in aquarelle pencil drawing which makes such kind of drawing a bit magic: there was a sketch in pencils and, in a minute, it is already an aquarelle painting. It is also very "convenient" to draw with aquarelle pencils with children: the kid is drawing both with pencils and a brush but the table, hands, cheeks, etc. stay clean.
