Homemade Cards: a Card-Mobile in “Twitter” Style

Today's card is quite unusual. Three-dimensional and movable. And at the same time it has fully preserved the functions of the traditional card: it is made of paper and inside there are felicitations and warm wishes. And, of course, you can present somebody with it! And it will serve for a longer time than the usual card. So, here it is - card-mobile in "twitter" style :

May be, those who regularly read our blog have noticed that we have recently widened our presence in the Internet and now we are also writing in "Twitter". And today we suggest You to make your own "home Twitter". Look, there are pipes made of paper where you can see the birds known to many :) , many-coloured sheets of paper. You can write warm wishes on the occasion of holidays on them (as it is a card!) and when the holiday has passed why not continue using this mobile as a carrier pigeon … for the exchange of letters :) . Just remember

- the birds do not like long talks :) The length of the message is… right, 140 symbols :)

It is extremely easy to make such a card – download the templates in the section of our blog "Material for Kids", print them out, cut out, roll in pipes and decorate with beautiful laces/threads. You can see in the photo how the whole construction is made. It is very simple to balance it as all the laces go through the pipes. It is better to take dense paper for the birdsto sit comfortably to keep shape. To balance the lower pipes, make a small cut under the bird itself and let the lace go into it in such a way for it to be right in the middle of the pipe.

Homemade Photo-Frames

We have prepared such a cozy photo-frame as an addition to our card-mobile.

The frame is hooked. The threads are mohair (the same as in the mobile).

The crocheted cover is placed on the frame as a hat. A "hi" to spring – it's time to renew the wardrobe interior :)
